Library Building Details
  • Separate library building : Built in 1979
  • Total built up area : 4400 sq. ft. with separate reading hall (1800 sq. ft.) and stacking area (2000 sq. ft.)

Facilities provided by library

  • Working hours of library are generally 10.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. However, at the time of examinations, it is kept open from 9.00 a.m. to 6.00 p.m. So also, on Sundays and holidays. Changes in timings are notified from time to time.
  • Book lending facility is available for home reading and for Reading Hall also to all students, faculty members and other supported staff of college.
  • Book bank facility available on payment of deposit.
  • A set of school texts (on return basis), Roll up and duster are issued to every student at the beginning.
  • Teaching Aids like maps, charts, outlines, globe geometry instruments are provided through library.
  • Open Access to Reference and Periodical Section – It is is also available on request to general sections also.
  • Book shows are arranged for collection orientation.
  • Internet facility is also available.

Library Membership Details

  • Regular Members : All bonafide students of college, Teaching staff, visiting faculty, supporting staff, ex. Staff (No library fee)
  • Other Members : Ex students, External Research Scholars for M.Phil., Ph.D. are given special permission for certain period of time. (on payment of Library Fee and Deposit
